Navigating Calls for Entry

For emerging photographers, submitting to curated group shows can be a great way to gain exposure, build exhibition history, or test unfinished projects. With several important calls for entry coming up in the new year, now is the time to prepare. Join us to hear valuable insights from Samantha Johnston, CPAC’s Executive Director and a seasoned juror.
We’ll discuss:
  • Major competitions such as Critical MassPDN Photo Annual, and The Fence
  • What the submission process looks like from a juror’s perspective
  • The importance of artist statements for project-based work

PhotoVox: Learn, Network, Share

PhotoVox is a monthly program offered by the Colorado Photographic Arts Center to help photographers strengthen their artistic voice with the support of other artists in the Denver Metro community. Meetings are held monthly at CPAC's downtown gallery, and feature discussions led by local arts and community leaders. Three sessions per year are dedicated to portfolio sharing. All are welcome!
