MoP - Month of Photography Denver is a biennial celebration of fine art photography with hundreds of collaborative public events throughout Denver and the region March and April 2017. We are joining multiple museums galleries and schools surrounding fine art photography creating an exciting artistic and educational event for the city of Denver and the region.

Surrealistic explorations deep into the terrain of the subconscious mind are the theme of this call. Revelation of psychological forces hidden just beneath the surface of reality are wanted to be seen. Surrealism can mean a lot of different things for the individual photographer.

Valerie Santerli is the Director and Curator of RULE Gallery and is Educational Chair on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Photographic Arts Center in Denver, CO. She was previously Associate Director of Working with Artists (a nonprofit photography school and gallery) before their merger with CPAC in 2011. A photographer in her own right, she has exhibited her work throughout Colorado - most recently during MOP 2014 at the Pattern Shop Studio and currently works on select freelance assignments including clients such as TEDX MileHigh.
Bobbi Walker founded Walker Fine Art in 1999, and opened the gallery space in June of 2002. She has been actively involved in the arts community in Denver for the last 11 years. In 2012 Bobbi was appointed to the Denver Commission on Cultural Affairs and is currently serving her 3rd year as a commissioner.
She is a specialist in educational programming, consulting to collectors and career planning and national networking for artists. Bobbi Walker is a member of the Denver Commission on Cultural Affairs Denver Art Dealers Association, Museum of Contemporary Art, DAM Contemporaries, DAM Asian Art Association and the Clyfford Still just to name a view.
