You are invited to the Byers-Evans House Gallery reception on Friday, March 6, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. A gallery talk by professor Scott B. Montgomery of the University of Denver begins at 6:30 pm. Both are free and open to the public.
The original rock posters for concerts at Denver’s Family Dog include Van Morrison, The Doors, and The Grateful Dead. The exhibition highlights the artistry of these posters, and places them within their historical context of rock music, counterculture identity, and conflicts with local police.
The exhibit will remain on view through May 10.
