John Johnston: The Joy of Profitable Creativity

As photographers, we all enjoy being creative and know it is crucial to our success.  But sometimes it can seem that the uninhibited creativity we possess does not always fit well in the framework of what our corporate clients demand.

The highly imaginative and intricate work Denver photographer John Johnston has created for New Belgium Brewing (the Fat Tire Ads), proves that creativity has no limits and is exactly why the client hires you and keeps coming back.

Join APA Colorado when John opens his studio and his mind to share how he creates the images that have helped make the Fat Tire brand such a success, as well as some of his other creative works.
John graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1996 with a BFA in Photography and Video. He moved to Denver where he started his career.  Making things by hand has always been an important part of his photos and artwork. He now shoots and illustrates for National Magazine and advertising clients including Ford, Frontier Airlines,  Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Kettle Chips, Red Robin and People Magazine.

If you are not already familiar with John's work, please take a moment to review his portfolio at http://www.johnjohnstoncreative.com
