CARMEN WIEDENHOEFT GALLERY PRESENTS THE WORK OF SONJA RIEGER AND RICHARD PETERSON IN COLLABORATION WITH SYDNEY PETERSON

Join us this Friday to view our exhibition for the Month of Photography.

Windows to the Unknown features Richard Alden Peterson, whose old-school Punk photography was showcased at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver last year, expands into other bodies of work with this new show. It includes five new collaborations with Sydney Kovac Peterson.

Dazzling features Sonja Rieger who is known for her large color photographs depicting urban Southern landscapes eerily lit by red neon lights. In this Exhibit we see her turn her gaze to American subcultures from the black transgender, cross-dressing, and drag community of Birmingham to create "Dazzling," and the Klu Klux Klan rallies of the '70s that make up "Rally."

Exhibition from March 1st - April 5th 2013
