Center is defined as 'the point from which an activity or process is directed, or on which it is focused.' We have kept The Center, the heart of our organization and mission, while changing the bits that were holding us back.

We’ve created a new type of arts center that engages our audience and involves our community by exhibiting in various venues in both experimental and traditional ways. This new model increases the Center’s visibility and public awareness; it brings our artists into direct contact with new audiences and more than anything, it builds community. The Center exists to support artists, art and community by connecting them all. We are excited about the progress this change has already brought!

As The Center for Fine Art Photography embraces this new model we welcome you on the journey with us. With programming at the center of our activities and partnering with different venues to host our exhibitions and events, we become a more prominent member of the community at large, as well as within the arts and culture scene. We’re sharpening the focus on the Center. The unexpected opportunities that have come from being nomadic are surprising and wonderful. Collaborations that would have been impossible under our former model are now accessible and vital. Stay tuned for more exciting news!
