Join us Friday for the opening reception of Role Reversal, a new exhibition at CPAC that challenges long-held perceptions of beauty, identity, and gender roles in visual culture. Meet exhibiting artists Christa Blackwood and Jessica Yatrofsky, who will speak about their work. This event is free and open to the public.

Gallery Practices: The Business of Being An Artist  

On March 14, join us for part two of a three-part series addressing gallery practices. Guest speakers Hannah James of Black Cube and Robin Whatley of Art Students League of Denver will discuss the the business side of juried shows, editions, inventories, websites, and more. 6:30 - 8 pm at CPAC. Free for CPAC members, $10 nonmembers. Please register in advance

March 24: Putting Art Into Words - A Writing Workshop for Artists 

An artist statement informs audiences about the context, process and inspiration behind a body of work, and it is a critical component in promoting and exhibiting your project. This one-day workshop examines essential documents in an artist’s career, including artist statements, a short bio, and proposals for exhibitions and grants.
