'Photography as a Storytelling Medium' with Lighthouse Writers
Join CPAC and Lighthouse Writers for an insightful dialogue of 'Photography as a Storytelling Medium'. Lighthouse Writers has partnered with the NEA's Big Read and the City & County of Denver to create Denver Talks, six weeks of events and discussions inspired by Claudia Rankine's Citizen: An American Lyric.

Rankine's Citizen is a book that is a haunting combination of prose, poetry, essay, photography, and visual art. Using Citizen, as a model, we'll look at how images can tell their own story, and how combining image and text can serve as a powerful and effective mode for our own stories.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 116-8pm
Location: CPAC Gallery, 1070 Bannock Street, Denver
Cost: FREE + open to the public; Courtesy of the National Endowment for the Arts
Dialogue: Photography as a Storytelling Medium
Speakers: Michael J. Henry from Lighthouse Writers & Photographer Terry Ratzlaff
