CPAC Sneak Preview of Month of Photography Events

SNEAK PREVIEW:
Month of Photography (MoP) Denver

It's our favorite time of the year! Starting in March, Denver will transform into a fine art photography feast, with hundreds of collaborative exhibitions, openings, artist talks, and other events throughout the region. To celebrate, CPAC and our partners present three special exhibitions:
Every Breath We Drew: Jess T. Dugan
March 10 - April 9 @ RedLine; Opening Reception March 116-9 pm

Guaranteed to be a highlight of MoP, this solo show by Chicago-based artist Jess Dugan explores the power of identity, desire, and connection through portraits of herself and others. Her images have been exhibited internationally, and she was recognized by The White House as a 2015 Champion of Change for her activism on LGBTQ issues. Presented by CPAC in partnership with RedLine. Photo: Hunter and Jeffry by Jess Dugan.
Varied Perceptions
March 2 - 25 @ Art Gym; Opening Reception: March 25-8 pm

Using bacteria, seeds, mysterious chemicals, and other unconventional methods, three artists create images that defy categorization and challenge us to question the nature of photography itself. Featuring Andrew Beckham, Marcus DeSieno, and Amy Theiss Giese. Presented by CPAC in partnership with Art Gym. Photo: Spiral Arm by Andrew Beckham.
Remember Me
March 4 - April 15 @ CPAC; Opening Reception: March 46-9 pm

Featuring Bree Lamb and Anne Leighton Massoni, Remember Me is a fascinating exploration of the elusiveness of memory by two artists that use photography in unexpected, innovative ways. Presented by CPAC. Photo: North Shores by Bree Lamb.
