Welcome to My World: Mental Health Awareness through Art
Deadline: July 31, 2016 Artists and photographers are encouraged to share their artistic vision of mental health in any medium. Artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction, and may be 2D or 3D. Work can be based on experience with mental health, stigmas associated with mental health, and coping with mental health through art expression.
The 16th Annual Juried Exhibition, American Art Today, is a prestigious exhibition that features 2D and 3D works of approximately 30 artists from across the nation. This year’s subject, “What is American Art?” will be answered by the juror Dr. William U. Eiland, Director of the Georgia Museum of Art, through the selected works. During his career, he has received several fellowships and distinguished service awards.
National Parks - Personal Narratives: Centennial Celebration Exhibition

The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin, will host a juried art show entitled “National Parks – Personal Narratives” as the opening event in its newly refurbished galleries. Artists are encouraged to submit their personal responses to our National Parks through depictions, interpretations, impressions, and memories. The Phipps is seeking work in all media.
All artwork will be judged according to fine art principles, subject matter, and presentation. The decision of the judge is final. The Aurora Artists Guild and the City of Aurora reserve the right to reject any work deemed unsuitable at take in.
Alienation...The state or experience of being isolated from a group or an activity to which one should belong or in which one should be involved...isolation, detachment, estrangement, distance, separation, division, cutting off, turning away, loss or lack of sympathy, indifference or hostility. The concept of alienation is embedded in all of the great religions as well as social and political theories of the civilized period. The hope is that in the future alienation will be overcome so that humanity can achieve harmony with itself and nature.
Focus Iran 2: Contemporary Photography and Video is a biennial juried international exhibition of photography and video organized by the Craft & Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) of Los Angeles and Farhang Foundation to showcase living artists whose works explore themes related to Iranian culture and heritage. The exhibition is an opportunity to facilitate the identification and development of emerging and mid-career photographers and media artists.
Atypical Topographies: exploring new approaches to landscape

The Cloyde Snook Gallery at the Art Department, Adams State University, seeks artwork in all media for a national juried exhibition. For “Atypical Topographies: exploring new approaches to landscape” we seek artworks that challenge, reinvent, or chart new directions in the concepts related to landscape art.
“Fearless” is a national, juried art exhibit curated by the e/artgroup and hosted by the Old Court House Arts Center on the Historic Town Square in Woodstock, Illinois. “Fearless” is exhibiting concurrently with the Clayworker’s Guild of Illinois.
Alternative processes include, but are not limited to: Albumen, Cyanotype, Van Dyke Brown, Platinum/Palladium, Gum Bichromate, Bromoil, Salt Print, Tintype, Ziatype, Daguerreotype, Image Transfers, Liquid Emulsion, Photogravure as well as handmade prints created from digital negatives. Traditional Silver Gelatin Prints, C-Prints and Digital Prints are not eligible. There is no limitation as to subject matter.
Firehouse Art Center 2017 Call for Artists- All Mediums

Los Angeles Center for Digital Art Juried Competition

Enter our juried competition featuring digital art and photography. Entrants submit three JPEG files of original work. All styles of artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to the creation of the images are acceptable. Video stills are acceptable. This call is international, open to all geographical locations.
The Dairy Arts Center (formerly The Dairy Center for the Arts), Boulder CO, invites artists and arts organizations from the United States and abroad to submit proposals for individual and artist-curated group exhibits in all visual art mediums to be considered for exhibition from July 2017 through December 2018.
