Amblewood Gallery invites photographers from around the world working in all mediums, styles, and schools of thought to participate. Artwork must be photography-based and 20 inches or less in height and width. All images will be printed onsite by our professional printer using archival pigment ink.

The Photographic Resource Center seeks a broad range of work, including both traditional and non-traditional approaches to photography. Jurors select between ten to fifteen artists and two and five pieces per person, thus offering artists the opportunity to showcase a series at a deeper level and making for an enriching experience for audiences as well.

How I Identify - Myself

For this call for art we are looking for artworks that explore the complexity of the human spirit, mind, and body. Works can be representational or non-representational. Works could be self portraits, portraits or paintings of others, or simply explore any one of the ideas and questions listed above. Works in all medias will be considered, except for jewelry or video.

IU East 2nd National Juried Exhibition: Art + Science

This year’s theme is “Art + Science,” and artists are invited to submit two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and video (no installation or performance) work that address this theme. Art andScience, although they may at first seem to be at the opposite end of the spectrum of disciplines, have much in common: problem-solving, curiosity of the unknown, and experimentation. Fields of science have also provided inspiration for countless artists throughout history, and continue to inform many artists’ work today.

The Sixth Annual Fine Art of Photography Exhibition

We look for portfolios that utilize photography in all styles, techniques, and aesthetic approaches. Consistency in the work as well as creative vision is important in the selection process.

National Geographic Young Explorers Grant$2,000 - $5,000 in funds
Young Explorers Grants (YEG) offer opportunities to individuals ages 18 to 25 to pursue research, conservation, and exploration-related projects consistent with National Geographic's existing grant programs, including: the Committee for Research and Exploration (CRE), the Expeditions Council (EC), and the Conservation Trust (CT). In addition, the YEG program recently teamed with the Luce Foundation to provide increased funding opportunities for fieldwork in 18 Northeast and Southeast Asian countries, including Brunei, Burma/Myanmar, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Glacier National Park Artist-In-Residence Program

The Artist-in-Residence Program at Glacier National Park offers professional artists four weeks of uninterrupted time to pursue their artistic discipline while being surrounded by the park’s inspiring landscape. The artist will also present several public programs in the park during their residency to share their experience and their art with park visitors. In celebration of the 2016 National Park Service Centennial the Glacier Artist-in-Residence program is seeking professional artists whose work reflects upon the past 100 years and/or looks forward to the future of our national parks.
