Students will learn how to produce high quality digital images from capture to ink-jet print. Topics include RAW vs. JPEG workflow, software choices, and the basics of color management. Students will have an opportunity to participate in a photo walk, calibrate their monitors, and make an ink-jet print during this 2 day workshop taught on the campus of Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design.

Intro to Wet-Plate Collodion
Wet-plate collodion is a beautiful photographic process that has made a remarkable comeback. In this hands-on, two-day workshop participants will learn the basics of making Wet-Plate Collodion, Ambrotype and Tintype positives, including history, mixing and handling chemistry, exposure and development process, and troubleshooting techniques. ImagOn: from photo to hand-pulled print

Documenting the Landscape of Middle Park

This two-day workshop explores the tradition of landscape to document the town and environs of Kremmling, CO. Participants will aim their cameras at the western landscape to create inspiring and thoughtful images. The course covers different approaches to documenting landscape. In addition to field work, Evan will also share his technical process with students, including tips and techniques for working in the landscape, digital workflow and RAW file processing.
