| Entry Deadline: 1/16/15 Days remaining to deadline: 10 REQUIREMENTS: Media Images - Minimum: 1, Maximum: 3 Total Media - Minimum: 1, Maximum: 3 Entry Fee (City of Littleton: Eye of the Camera 2015): $30.00 The City of Littleton Fine Arts Board proudly presents the 49th Annual Eye of the Camera Photography Exhibition. Awarding $2,400 in cash prizes! Eye of the Camera is open to Colorado residents only. There are three categories for entry: 1. Color digital photographs 2. Black and White digital photographs 3. Film /darkroom processed and printed photographs. Film / darkroom entries may not have any digital aspect including no scanning or digital printing. A total of three photographs may be entered. For example: You may enter two for the color category and one for the black and white category. You may NOT enter three photographs for color, three for black and white, and three for darkroom. This year's juror: John Sunderland Submission Rules and Requirements: All work must have been produced in the last 3 years and not shown in a Denver area juried photo show in last two years. This competition is open to Colorado residents only. Entry fee is $30 (non-refundable) Entrants may submit up to a total of 3 photographs for consideration. Photographs can be in separate categories. Deadline for submission is January 16, 2015, midnight mountain time. The Fine Arts Committee will charge a 25% commission on the sale price of any artwork sold during the exhibit. Entrants must consider this when pricing work. All entries must be available for sale. All work not accurately represented after digital files are reviewed against actual framed pieces may be subject to withdrawal at the juror’s discretion. If accepted, your artwork will need to be delivered in person on Monday, February 9, 2015 between 3pm and 7pm. No exceptions. Artwork may not be shipped. Accepted photographs will be on display in the Littleton Museum’s Fine Arts Gallery February 20 - March 29, 2015. Winners will be notified by phone or email and introduced at the opening reception. The Fine Arts Board reserves the right to refuse any photographs deemed inappropriate for the Littleton Museum setting. All accepted entries must be properly framed with strong wire (no saw tooth hangers) and identified with photographer’s name, title, price, and contact information. Entrants agree that artwork submitted to the City of Littleton’s Fine Arts Board Eye of the Camera competition may be used and reused by the committee with its consent for purposes of illustration, promotion, display or publication, and for any other lawful purpose. Schedule: Entries MUST be submitted through CaFE by January 16, 2015 at midnight mountain time. Acceptance and rejection notifications will be sent by mail on or around January 23, 2015. If accepted, your artwork must be delivered in person on Monday, February 9, 2015 between 3pm and 7pm. No exceptions. An opening reception will be held on February 19, 2015 from 5:30pm - 7pm at Littleton Museum for all entrants and a guest. Exhibition Dates: February 20 - March 29, 2015. Littleton Museum is closed to the public on Mondays. Pick up of Artwork: Monday, March 30, 2015 from 3pm to 7pm. No exceptions. Please note: Artwork not picked up at the specified time will be forfeited and become the property of the City of Littleton and may be sold at auction. |
