MoP and Wonderbound have joined forces to offer an exciting opportunity to make images of their dancers in rehearsal and submit the best work for exhibition during the Month of Photography.
Submissions should be sent to Wonderbound's Editorial Manager, Sam Pike (spike@wonderbound.com), who will post them to Instagram during MoP. The public will vote on their favorite photos to name the winners.
Submissions should be taken at Wonderbound's rehearsal space, be 300dpi or greater and include a 1-3 sentence story of your experience while taking the photo. Winners will be featured in the program for our opening performance of the 2015-16 season, receive two tickets to the performance, have a feature story written about them on wonderbound.com, and receive a Wonderbound t-shirt.
The rehearsal space is open to the public and we would love to see you! Typical rehearsals begin Tue-Friday 11:30-1:45; 2:30-5:30 and Saturday 12-2:45; 3:30-6. However, please call or send an email to confirm rehearsal times – info@wonderbound.com (303) 292-4700
Wonderbound is an American dance company in Denver, Colorado that creates genre-defying performances in collaboration with an ever-widening array of artists in the Rocky Mountain region.
Wonderbound lives at the convergence of the seemingly disparate ideas of tradition and innovation, vulnerability and courage, and intimacy and openness. Resident within the Wonderbound family is a collection of multi-talented individuals who have embraced these paradoxical ideas and been selected for their capacity, creativity and daring. They revel in the idea that Wonderbound is forging a new path and building a new model for how the performing arts are created, supported and shared in a rapidly evolving world.
