Vilona Gallery, 1815 Pearl Street (on the East End of Pearl Street), is seeking photography and alternative process photography for its Premier Exhibition- A Premier Collection Produced by the Photographic Artists of CU.
This two week exhibit will be included as part of the MOP-Month of Photography in Boulder for 2015. The dates are March 1-15. Hanging of the work will take place Sat 28th of Feb-Sunday March 1. An Opening Artist Reception is scheduled for March 6 from 6-8PM.
Theme: Open theme surrounding history, traditions, rituals depicting family/culture/America/agriculture/celebrations as they tie in to current contemporary life. Artist must provide a sentence on each photograph as to the tradition/ritual being depicted as it translates into contemporary inspiration and art.
Eligibility: Current Students of CU and Alumni
Media: B/W Photography and Alternative Photographic Processes
Judging Criteria: Quality, interpretation of theme, originality.
Juror: Vilona Gallery Directors.
Entry Fee-None.
