Celebrate MOP with ASLD! From pinhole, cyanotype, wet & dry plate processes, inkodye, polaroid art, solarisation, photo etchings and everything in between, this exhibit explores non-traditional and non-commercial photography. Open to members and faculty and work must meet the **ASLD framing parameters. Please review the information below on how to enter.
Note: To have your piece considered for use in our promotional materials, please submit one high-resolution image tor.whatley@asld.org no later than Friday, Jan 23rd.
- Be sure your work is ready-to-hang; two-dimensional work requires a picture wire. It is recommended that work be submitted wrapped in paper or bubble-wrap (wrapping will not be returned). Be sure your name and the title appear on the back.
- **ASLD framing parameters: Wired pieces only. NO sawtooth hangers. NO plastic frames. Black or Neutral toned only. All framed artwork that does not meet specifications will be subjected to be discluded at curator’s discretion.
- Bring piece to the League's main office during the drop-off dates listed. Due to limited space, we will accept the first 15-20 two-dimensional pieces as well as 5-10 three-dimensional pieces (size dependent). All work which fits the description of the exhibit will be accepted (one submission per artist per exhibition, please).
- Fill out the Entry Form and Label Information in the office. Artwork submitted for Open Call exhibitions may be made available for sale at the discretion of the artist (with the League retaining a 40% commission on sales)--keep in mind that you'll need pricing information to complete the form.
