Will Wilson Pop-Up Exhibit

Visit the photography gallery on level seven of the North Building, where a one-week only, pop-up exhibit is on view until April 7th. The gallery will feature a selection of prints DinĂ© (Navajo) photographer Will Wilson made in the artist-in-residence studio during his week on site at the DAM. Utilizing a combination of historic tintype and contemporary digital processes, Will created portraits of museum visitors and members of Colorado’s American Indian community that reposition traditional photographic depictions of Native Americans through a photographic exchange with his sitters.

Watch a video of the pop-up installation here, and be certain to stop by and see the work before the show closes this Sunday!
