Ashley Olsen is a Denver based photographer who received her BFA in Photography from the University of Colorado Denver (UCD).  Olsen first became interested in photography in high school through classes and workshops. As a student at UCD, Olsen has received national and local recognition for her scholastic achievements.

Olsen uses photography as an outlet for  to explore her identity during a very personal evolution. She creates subjective self-portraits as a way to capture the most intimate moments and sensations experienced between her husband and herself, paying special attention to the Christian religion's expectations of a woman's role in marriage, in comparison to contemporary culture's conflicted views.
